The event will start at the home of Wren Polansky, long-time artistic collaborator of LITVAKdance. Sip on some bubbly, and peruse some of the art and photographs Wren created in collaborative processes with LITVAKdance. Starting with our inaugural photo shoot, Wren's vision has helped shape the company ethos. Focusing on the natural landscapes and histories of the places we inhabit Wren has also made works in response to the dancers hertiages, The SuffrageProject and our current project, Our Man-Made Water Ways.
After the art tour, take a short, guided walk around the corner to our home studio lovingly coined The Barn by our original company in the backyard of our artistic director, Sadie Weinberg. Snack on small bites with a cocktail in hand and see the company dancers perform excerpts of works from our fall show. Finish the afternoon with a silent auction while watching our NEA sponsored film project, Our Man-Made WaterWays, made in collaboration with the city of Broomfield, Colorado and take a homemade cookie for the road!
